When I first found this location in Snoqualmie, WA I instantly knew that this was a location I wanted to coordinate styled shoot at. So, I contacted amazing wedding vendors around the Seattle area and started discussing ideas for this shoot. Once I met Rachel and Jane from Juniper Rose Studio, that’s when my vision started to come to life.
All the years living here in Washington I’ve always loved seeing the wildflowers bloom in the summertime while hiking in
Snoqualmie Pass
and
Mt. Rainier National Park
Nothing is more relaxing than being able to get away from the hustle in the city and breathe in the fresh air in between the towering evergreen trees. I wanted this shoot to inspire couples who love the outdoors and show them that they too can have a wedding of their dreams in the environment that they love the most.
What’s funny is while planning this shoot, I actually received an inquiry for a real elopement in the surrounding areas of Snoqualmie! My bride had actually given me free reign to pick out the locations after their nuptials and I thought that this would be an awesome location to scope out prior to their big day!
On the day of the shoot it was a nice, partly cloudy day. If I remember correctly it was supposed to be roughly mid-60s, low-70s – however it definitely didn’t feel like it, the humidity was crazy! And on top of that there was sun, rain, clouds, and thunderstorms all during the shoot! Luckily the weather, humidity, and mosquito bites didn’t stop us from doing this amazing shoot.
Everyone on the team did such an amazing job and I am forever grateful that they joined in on this! If it wasn’t for any of them, it wouldn’t have been as amazing!
