But because I take on a limited number of weddings each year, dates are reserved on a first-come basis. If you feel a strong connection to the work, I always recommend reaching out sooner rather than later to secure your day. 

Yes. A retainer and a signed contract are required to officially reserve your date. The remaining balance is split into manageable payments leading up to your wedding.
