Okay, I know. You read the title and said, “Wait, what?” As a Seattle Wedding Photographer I questioned myself too about making this post. But I’ve had many brides who were looking for Seattle Wedding Venues and when they put more thought into what they actually wanted for their wedding, they’ve come to realize that a city wedding isn’t what they were looking for.
#PeaksxPinesBrides have a love for the outdoors. They value those special moments with their loved ones and having a laid back, stress-free day. The thought of having to travel from one location to the other for photos or other things and the stress that comes with where you’re going to park, is something that doesn’t interest #PeaksxPinesBrides.
So, I wanted to take the time and create this free resource for you to check out. Even if you haven’t reached out to me yet to be your wedding photographer, you’re still most certainly planning your Seattle Wedding. Of course any list of “Best Seattle Wedding Venues” is going to be 100% subjective to personal interests, but these are my favorite venues that are right outside the city.

Chateau Lill in Redmond, WA
Just 30 minutes from downtown Seattle and 15 minutes from Bellevue, Chateau Lill is surrounded by 10 acres of lush rolling lawns, ponds, and tall firs. From their popular gazebo nestled next to their scenic pond to their open air tented terrace that’s perfect for those long summer nights, you cannot go wrong in booking Chateau Lill for your wedding day.
Woodinville Lavender in Woodinville, WA
Nestled in the Sammamish River Valley and just 30 minutes from downtown Seattle, Woodinville Lavender is an incredibly beautiful outdoor wedding venue. With their award winning lavender gardens, it provides the perfect backdrop for your dream wedding!
To ensure the utmost care and immaculate conditions, Woodinville Lavender accommodates up to 80 guests. Included with the venue are 10 hours of venue use, handcrafted tables and chairs for your reception, profession dance floor and lighting, fresh cut or dried lavender bundles, garden ceremony arbor, venue manager/day-of-coordinator support, and much more! They also have an open catering policy, so if you’re a foodie like me, you can hire your favorite caterer to prepare your favorite dishes at your reception!
Bella Luna Farms in Snohomish, WA
Less than 30 minutes away from Seattle, Bella Luna Farms sits on 12 acres nestled in the forest. It’s home to an extensive organic vegetable and herb garden, numerous chickens and goats, and a farmstead creamery to name a few. Surrounded by towering trees, you’ll discover European-inpsired, hand crafted stone and timber structures. With its focus on fresh, seasonal produce and locally-made artisanal provisions, celebrations at Bella Luna Farms is centered around a true farm-to-table experience.
Its the perfect wedding venue for couples who don’t want to travel too far from Seattle but also want to feel like you’ve traveled for hours to get to your destination.
Jardin Del Sol in Snohomish, WA
This charming wedding venue is location 2 miles from downtown Snohomish and about a 35 minutes away from Seattle. With the perfect balance of elegance and rustic charm, Jardin Del Sol sits atop 7 acres of beautifully manicured grounds and surrounded by authentic northwest greenery.
Accommodating up to 175 guests, there are multiple areas that can be used for your celebrations. Feeling like a “secret garden” the main garden area is surrounded by an abundance of flowering perennials, shrubs, and trees.
The reception area offers three stunning terracotta patios all connecting to each other through terracing. The large patio includes a gorgeous white wedding tent with tent liner, chandeliers, and leg drapes. The dance patio overlooks the green belt while globe lights are strung across the entire patio. The lower patio has a gas stone fire ring and lounge set, perfect for the nights that need a little more warmth.
Both wedding parties have on-site spaces that they can get ready at, eliminating the need to rent hotel rooms!

With a scenic view of the Snohomish River and green pasture fields, this gorgeous wedding venue can accommodate up to 200 guests. With included features of white folding chairs and tables for use, a custom bar, bridal suite with all amenities, a wood photo wall, on-site coordinator, golf cart valet service with parking attendants, a covered structure perfect for your reception, and the opportunity to choose your own vendors!
