Joshua Tree Engagement Photos

As I was traveling to Palm Springs, California, I announced on social media that I was available for photoshoots while there. Alicia and Aaron saw my post and wanted to book a session with me. I am so glad they did because their Joshua Tree engagement photos did not disappoint!

Aaron and Alicia met while they were in college. The first time he ever saw her was on a marketing brochure for their college. They are an adorable couple, and their chemistry is inspiring!

We decided to do a sunrise session for their engagement pictures in Joshua Tree. Even though the sun was rising, it was already sweltering. These two lovebirds didn’t let the heat get to them, and we had so much fun! My goal is always to photograph a couple naturally, and that’s exactly how the session went with Aaron and Alicia. They were always laughing and made my job easy because they were very comfortable in front of the camera!

This was the first time we had ever met, but it felt like we’d known each other. I was so excited to capture this Joshua Tree engagement session, not only because of this adorable couple but also because of the beauty of this area! They had several different looks that suited them perfectly. One of their looks was playful, which allowed them to be more lighthearted and then transitioned to a casual dressy look, but nothing too formal.

Traveling always makes my heart happy. It is an absolute joy to travel wherever your love takes me! I love that my job allows me to explore while also capturing sessions or weddings for beautiful couples.

It filled my heart with joy to hear that Aaron and Alicia loved their images and maybe even shed a tear when they saw them for the first time!
